So I finally got my Wii!! I have been trying to get one for too damn long! I searched the city before Christmas and had no luck, finally ordered one thru Dell then was told they were outta stock, I thought I was never gunna get it!! Yay!!
So was the wait worth it you ask? I didn’t think so at first, with our Wii we purchased Super Paper Mario, and an extra controller that comes with the WiiPlay game (has 9 mini games on it, similar to the WiiSports that comes with the Wii system) we played the games like tennis, boxing, baseball, they are all well and fun but they lose their novelty real fast. They are fantastic for kids, I have a few friends with young kids 3-6, that can actually play and keep up with us, and they are awesome for parties when you have people around that haven’t tried it yet, but too play those games all the time is a lil exhausting… who knows, I haven’t started playing for points yet so I will keep you posted.
Anyhoo!! After a day of searching, calling over to the next town, calling every game rental place in the city, we finally found MarioKart, OHHH MAN! This game makes it alll worth it, if this is the only good game I ever find for Wii I won’t be mad atcha Nintendo! This game is soo much fun, online playing is soo fun, my fiance says they did battles on the old Mariokarts but I don’t remember it, I was playing with my 6 yr old nephew, alls you do is drive around pick up boxes and shoot peeps! When I pick this game up I cannot put it down, I think they’ve even added a few characters for us! You can be Baby Princess Peach, and drive a motorized stroller! It’s awesome!! They have a ton of old tracks from SNES, N64, and DS, plus a bunch of totally new ones!! I haven’t been this excited about a game in a long time, if it loses it’s cool I’ll letcha know, but for now I’m giving it two big thumbs up! MARIOKART ROCKS MY SOCKS!

… I also purchased Super Paper Mario, the case looked exactly like the old Super Mario for SNES, not at all folks, the best part for me about that game was running through, it was almost like a race to see how fast I could go with this new one, you can’t even RUN!?!? No run button…. Thanks Nintendo…..sigh. (I’m sorry I still love you! LOL) So far I’ve played for over an hour and haven’t gotten anywhere, I think I got past the very first level and now I’m stuck, you have to bring ppl shit for them for letcha go further, just reDONKulous! Not like SuperMario at all… I does look cool, all the same characters and with Wii’s weak ass picture it looks pretty similar to what they all looked like before but it’s soooooo SLOW!! And this game is supposed to be for kids? It’s mostly reading through pointless shit…. sooo I say NO on the Super Paper Mario, go onto you Wii and buy the old Super Mario for like 5 bucks or whatever it costs… I did however pay 50$ for this WIItarded game, so I’ll keep trying, see if I can accomplish anything and letchyawl know!!
